A 30-year-old woman has died following a motor vehicle collision on the Bronx River Parkway, police said. Police said that on Friday, April 19, at around 3.18 a.m., officers from the 49th Precinct responded to a 911 call regarding a vehicle collision on the Bronx River Parkway approaching the Boston Road exit, west of the Pelham Parkway neighborhood.

Top-rated cops who stick around despite being eligible to retire are now getting a sizable bump in pension — as lawmakers try to retain qualified officers after a massive exodus at the NYPD, The Post has learned.
