Postpartum Cow Saved After Getting Stuck In Mud In Hunterdon County (Photos)
At 5:15 p.m., the Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad said they were deployed after discovering the mama cow had gotten herself stuck in the mud. The original crew called for additional personnel, and taller boots, to assist the cow, rescuers said. It took four rescuers to save the cow, and they were able to reunite mother and calf, rescuers said.
