Hooten’s Arkansas Football Magazine previews the upcoming season for high school teams (all 11-man and eight-man) and the college teams in the state. The biggest section of the magazine breaks down every 11-man high school football team and conference in Arkansas.Mountain Home is expected to return to the postseason for the fifth straight season, and this year, they’re expected to have home field advantage in the opening round. The coaches predicted the Bombers to finish fourth in the 6A-West, and Hooten’s has them 10th in the Class 6A rankings. Mountain Home City Pool to host Flick N’ Float event July 27
The Mountain Home City Pool will host a Flick N’ Float event Saturday night from 7 to 10 at the City Pool in celebration of National Parks and Recreation Month. The movie Under the Boardwalk will be shown around 8:15. Noodles, life-jackets and puddle jumpers will be the only flotation devices allowed upon entry and the diving board and deep end will be closed off to swimmers.
