an ARTIST perception by Guess-Fisher Gallery,
Times, they are a-changing! As Naples continues to grow and evolve, I am once again adapting my gallery to its ever-changing business environment. Throughout our years in the art business, we transitioned from primarily framing pictures and exhibiting just our own art to representing numerous artists. After 43 years, my art business will shift to marketing Phil’s and my work primarily online, with a presence at Naples Art Studios, located at 2172 J and C Blvd., in the Naples Art District. Viewings will be available by appointment and at special shows, including Five Painters and a Potter on March 14, 2027, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Clay Place.

As first highlighted by Dexerto and WSVN , Celine Emerson of Naples, Florida, found the bear inside her home. Emerson said seeing the bear up close was “just crazy, it was so unusual to see it, like, so close to us.” She said the bear went straight for the refrigerator and took out some alcohol. The bear also ate trash in the front yard for about 30 minutes after its fridge raid. Emerson had a laid-back explanation for the bear’s choice of drink, saying, “I figured he was thirsty.” She says the bear looked about six feet tall standing up Emerson said that when she and her husband noticed the bear had opened the fridge and made itself at home, she yelled at it. She added that seeing the bear was a little scary, and that when it stood up, it looked about six feet tall. The bear got onto the property through an unlocked gate, and Emerson later found a large paw print on her counter. She explained that the family does

Artis—Naples’ Beethoven Festival TO LIGHT 2026-27 Season
Even two hundred years after his death, Ludwig van Beethoven cannot be consigned to the past. Attempting to separate his influence from the music that followed would be something like trying to remove salt from seawater. His symphonies, concertos and chamber works altered expectations of what music could express, while some of his melodies have become part of a cultural vocabulary that extends far beyond the concert hall.
