    Fayetteville judge sentences Oklahoma woman more than 16 years on drug trafficking charge

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — An Oklahoma woman was sentenced March 8 on one count of distribution of methamphetamine.

    Judge James M. Moody Jr., sentenced Cerina Lynn Boehrer, 40, of Ada, Okla., to 200 months or 16 years and 8 months followed by five years of of supervised release.

    Detectives were notified that Boehrer was transporting methamphetamine from Oklahoma to the Northwest Arkansas area for distribution, according to a news release.

    On February 3, 2023, detectives found Boehrer as she was traveling in Fayetteville and discovered about one pound of methamphetamine and a firearm in her vehicle, the release stated.

    The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program bringing together all levels of law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce violent crime and gun violence, and to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone. The Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force investigated the case.

    Assistant U.S. Attorney Briana Robbins prosecuted the case.
