MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie mother was arrested this week after city police reported finding rotten food and a large number of insects in her northside apartment. Alexus Shyanne Sutliff, 22, was taken into custody early Monday after officers reported finding unsanitary conditions — and two young children — in her home.

MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man convicted of participating in an interstate drug ring has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Lance Michael McGee, 32, had pleaded guilty — in U.S. District Court in Indianapolis — conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver controlled substances. He was sentenced at a recent hearing by Judge Richard Young.
