'Lost on a Mountain in Maine' film to premier this July
A feature film version of Donn Fendler’s classic survival memoir “Lost on a Mountain in Maine” will premiere at the Maine International Film Festival this July. “Lost on a Mountain in Maine” was filmed in 2022 and is directed by Andrew Kightlinger and written by Luke Paradise. According to the Bangor Daily News, the movie was not shot in Maine. It was reportedly filmed in New York.

Wilton Select Board considers police services contract with Dixfield
WILTON – The Wilton Select Board met on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Town Manager Maria Greeley reported that the town received a letter from Alicia Conn, Town Manager of Dixfield, expressing Dixfield’s interest in entering into a police services contract with Wilton. Conn requested that Wilton submit a proposal with any questions and additional requirements. Greeley and Police Chief Ethan Kyes met with Conn and both agreed that they require more information before considering submitting a proposal.
