New flagpole dedicated at Sangerville Veterans Memorial Park
SANGERVILLE — On May 18, during the park’s clean-up day, a new flagpole was dedicated once again to local veterans at Sangerville Veterans Memorial Park. Donated by Macy Gardner, a 20-year Army veteran, the pole came with a new flag and a solar light installed at the top for night time illumination. Many local volunteers were on hand to celebrate the new pole as well as pitching in with the Sangerville Rec Committee for spring cleanup.

PALMYRA, Maine (WABI) - Heather Hill is frustrated. She says drivers ignore a stop sign at the intersection of Spring Hill and Wiers Roads. “Maybe a third of the people just go through the stop sign.
