4,500 home subdivision coming to Newberry
NEWBERRY, Fla. (WCJB) - The NC Ranch development was approved by commissioners this week. It will be one of the largest subdivisions in Newberry’s history. Mixed emotions are going through residents’ minds in Newberry as a huge development is coming to the area. Over the next 50 years, 4,500 homes are set to be built in a large field near the Easton Newberry Sports Complex. Some people are worried about the traffic it will bring.
Newberry crews work overnight to repair sinkhole, busted water line
NEWBERRY, Fla. (WCJB) - Water has been restored for Newberry residents after a water line broke and a sinkhole opened Thursday night. City officials say a sinkhole opened on the roadway near Southwest 265 Terrace in Newberry. The crews worked overnight, with the help of some nearby residents, to repair the water line.
