Family confirms identity of deceased woman

The family of a Fairfield woman who’s body was found on March 28 confirmed her identity.

Denise Lissette Ramos, 22, was found dead at a residence located on 800 Clark Street. The Fairfield Police Department has yet to confirm Ramos’ identity, but FPD officials believe foul play is involved in this case.

Ramos did not show up to her job or return phone calls on March 28, which prompted a call to FPD for a welfare check. Her body was discovered that night.

FPD and the Texas Rangers are investigating the death. Ramos’ family also set up a GoFundMe account for funeral expenses.
