Man wanted out of Fairfax, Prince George’s counties arrested by Stafford County Sheriff’s Office

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. ( DC News Now ) — A man wanted out of both Fairfax and Prince George’s Counties was arrested Thursday night by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).

An SCSO sergeant saw a man at the Quality Inn on Greenspring Drive peeing next to a dumpster at about 7 p.m. When the sergeant went up to the 35-year-old, he smelled alcohol in his breath.

SCSO said that when the sergeant tried identifying the man, he got agitated and started yelling. Though he resisted, the sergeant was eventually able to detain the man.

The sergeant discovered the suspect was wanted out of Fairfax County and Prince George’s County. He was arrested and charged with public intoxication and obstruction of justice and was served his Fairfax warrant.

He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 secured bond.
