Enjoy A Mild Monday Before Rain Arrives Tuesday
BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A cold front will travel southward across the state today giving us a chance for some scattered showers through the afternoon. The best chance of showers will be north of Dover-Foxcroft and Lincoln. Otherwise... expect a partly to mostly cloudy sky for our Monday. It’ll be a warmer day too... and likely the warmest day we see for quite some time. Temperatures will top off in the 60s to near 70° this afternoon.

Peak foliage arriving in Bangor region, not quite peak south while past peak north
BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Peak foliage is officially arriving in the Bangor region as well as areas around Millinocket and Houlton. Areas to the north and west of the state have passed their peak and there was significant leaf drop the past few days with the high winds. The leaves will continue to fall rapidly with the colder temperatures we will see through the rest of the week dropping to near freezing multiple nights in the north. The rain tomorrow will also contribute to the significant fall off.
