Opelousas man arrested for selling hallucinogenic mushrooms and marijuana at his store
An Opelousas man was arrested after selling marijuana and hallucinogenic mushrooms out of his own business. Ahmad Salaheddin Hassan, 38, owner of the One Stop convenience store on 731 E. Landry Street, turned himself in to authorities last Wednesday. He faces two counts of possession with intent to distribute Schedule I drugs, three counts of illegal possession of a firearm in the presence of drugs and one count of transactions involving the proceeds from drugs, according to a St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office announcement.
