HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — The Evansville African American Museum collected thousands of eclipse glasses after last month’s total solar eclipse over the Tri-State. Now volunteers are needed to help sort through them.

Astronomers Without Borders will give out the glasses to reuse worldwide during future eclipses.

We’re told the cardboard from any damaged glasses will be recycled.

Volunteers can help sort and package the glasses on Wednesday, May 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
