YELM, Wash. — Police are investigating after a body was found at the site of a motor home fire in Yelm, according to the Thurston County Sheriff's Office. Yelm police were dispatched to a "suspicious situation" on the 10500 block of Old McKenna Road Southeast at around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning. The fire department was sent to a motor home and boat on fire, and after extinguishing the blaze, discovered a dead person. Law enforcement is investigating the death as a homicide.
