SeaWolves game rained out for second consecutive night, will not be made up

( WJET/WFXP ) – Friday’s Erie SeaWolves game has been cancelled due to weather, the team announced.

The team was scheduled to play the Birmingham Rumble Ponies Friday night but for the second consecutive night, the game was rained out. This game is cancelled and will not be made up.

The SeaWolves will be back in action in a doubleheader on Saturday at UPMC Park, which will include Saturday’s regularly scheduled game as well as the Thursday makeup game, with the first pitch for the first game taking place at 1:35 p.m. and the second game will shortly follow. Both games will be seven innings in length.

Gates for the Saturday doubleheader will open at 12:30 p.m. and one ticket will be good for both games.

The fifth and final game of series against Birmingham will conclude on Sunday, April 14, with first pitch at 1:35 p.m.
