EPPING, ND ( KXNET ) — As a part of Lewis and Clark State Park’s 50th anniversary celebration, the area is hosting a Golden Glow Hike.

The event will start with an art activity in the amphitheater in the center of the campground on May 24 at 7 p.m., where attendees can make glow-in-the-dark bracelets and face masks. Supplies will be provided free of charge.

Things to do around town: May 13-19

On May 25, the campground will be full of color from glow sticks, and people are encouraged to wear neon-colored clothing. The hike will start at the amphitheater around 10 p.m. after sunset. Quiet hours for that day will be delayed to 11 p.m.

There is a $7 vehicle entrance fee to the park during the event, unless a current annual pass is displayed. You can find more information on the park’s Facebook page.
