Two incidents occurred in Huber Heights, Ohio this week. The first incident involved an hours-long standoff in a neighborhood, resulting in the arrest of a suspect. The second incident was a warning issued by the local police department about a gift card scam.

The Kettering Police Department in Ohio is seeking assistance in identifying suspects involved in multiple thefts and credit card misuse. They have released photos of the suspects on social media and are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Pedro. Additionally, a woman with multiple warrants led police on a chase through Kettering, which was captured on cruiser cam and body cam footage. Another incident involved a Lyft driver who had her gun stolen after a fight with a passenger. Lastly, the police are asking for help in identifying a man suspected of stealing from a local auto shop.

The Clark County Commissioners Board in Springfield, OH, will close its departments at noon on Friday, Dec. 15, 2023, for the Employee Holiday Party. The departments closing early are Building and Grounds, Commission, Community and Economic Development, Dog Warden, Emergency Management Agency, Information Systems, Personnel, Reentry, Solid Waste District, and Utilities.

At least four people were hurt after a crash on US-35 in Dayton Friday night.
