The Erickson Center for the Arts (ECA) is holding open auditions for their annual summer musical on Monday, May 13 and Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The auditions will be held at The Pine Performance Center. Friends and family of Ross Freeman gathered Monday night to honor his memory at Engadine Consolidated Schools. Freeman’s sister Janet Freeman said the school chose to name the science and technology wing after him because that was his forte.

Feeding America food distribution scheduled for Luce County Thursday afternoon
NEWBERRY, Mich. (WLUC) - Feeding America West Michigan is scheduled to distribute food to residents in need of assistance in Luce County on Thursday afternoon. The pantry is located at the GCCP Dunlap Center, at 6545 Hwy. M-123 in Newberry. Distribution is slated to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern time. Anyone unable to physically attend can have a proxy or stand in pick up food for them. That person will need to be ready to give the name, address, and household size of any other family they are picking up for.
