2 killed in head-on crash near Willmar, state patrol says
PENNOCK, Minn. — Two people are dead after a head-on crash Tuesday evening in southern Minnesota.The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just after 7 p.m. on Highway 12 in Pennock, a few miles northwest of Willmar.An eastbound Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 45-year-old Waseca man, collided with a westbound Ford Explorer, driven by a 69-year-old Benson woman.MORE NEWS: Minnesota State Sen. Woman found dead in home after early Tuesday fire in St. Peter
An elderly woman was found dead in her home, apparently killed in an early Tuesday fire, according to St. Peter law enforcement. Charges filed against 6 arrested in Mankato drug bust
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Felony charges have been filed in Blue Earth County after a seizure of thousands of counterfeit pills containing fentanyl in Mankato over the weekend. According to a criminal complaint, the task force received a tip the pills were brought in from Michigan. Authorities say the pills were then sold out of an apartment rented by Wynter Harrison, one of the suspects.

A Waseca man was injured Tuesday morning in a rollover crash in Martin County. The crash occurred just before noon at Highway 15 and I-90 at Fairmont. A state patrol crash report says Derek Donald Vonbank, 35, of Waseca, was driving a transit van northbound on Highway 15 and a car driven by 88-year-old Everett Wayne Hanning of Granada, was exiting westbound I-90 when the vehicles collided at Fairmont. The van rolled following the collision, according to the report.
