MN Man Accused of Assaulting Minnesota State Trooper During Byron Drug Arrest
Byron, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Olmsted County Attorney’s Office filed charges Tuesday against a Mankato man accused of assaulting a State Trooper during a drug arrest in Byron this past spring. The criminal complaint says the arrest occurred on April 8 near the eastern Kwik Trip store in Byron.

MYPlace is only $300-thousand away from raising $3.2 million to fund the purchase, remodel and addition to their new Stadium Road location. In a hit to St. Peter’s local economy, one of the city’s major employers, Alumacraft, announced it would be laying off 68 employees at the St. Peter manufacturing facility. OSAGE, Iowa – A woman has finally entered a plea after two men have already been sentenced for the theft of a pickup truck. Eleana Kuuipo McDonough, 40 of Willmar, Minnesota, has pleaded not guilty to one count of first-degree theft. Alumacraft laying off 68 workers at its St. Peter plant, a blow to town's economy
Alumacraft Boat Co. has laid off 68 of its employees at its St. Peter, Minn., plant, which city officials say will affect the community's economy. St. Peter city administrator Todd Prafke said approximately a third of the laid-off employees were from St. Peter - a city of about 12,000 - and the rest live in the surrounding area. There are still 207 employees at the location, according to a spokeswoman for Alumacraft's parent company, Canada-based BRP Inc.
