Missouri woman killed in Highway 2 crash near Syracuse
SYRACUSE, Neb. (News Channel Nebraska) - The Nebraska State Patrol reported a fatal crash on Highway 2 near Syracuse at 10:55 p.m. on Saturday. A GMC Sierra was traveling south on 34th Road and approaching the highway. The GMC entered the intersection and was struck by an eastbound Jeep Grand Cherokee in the eastbound lanes of Highway 2. Both vehicles came to rest in the southeast ditch.

Goner of Atchison, on requested charges of domestic battery and interference with law enforcement in the 1000 block North 4th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
Fatal drowning reported in Buchanan County
BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo.- A fatality was reported in a Missouri River drowning Sunday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, St. Joseph resident, 38-year-old, Darrel S. Brown was fishing on the side of a public boat dock just south of the French bottom ramp. Brown fell into the river and did not resurface. After multiple agencies conducted a search, he was found at 12:05 p.m. and pronounced at the scene.
Four vehicle accident in Buchanan County reports injuries
BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo.- Three individuals were injured after a four-vehicle crash Monday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Salina, Kansas resident, 23-year-old, Kameron A. Reeves was passing a crash scene while traveling northbound on 1-29. St. Joseph resident, 74-year-old, Ginger S. Coverdell was travelling behind Reeves when she struck her from behind. Reeves came to a stop on the shoulder of the road. As Coverdell was slowing down, the vehicle behind her, driven by St. Joseph resident, 30-year-old, Abbey L. Williamson struck Coverdell.
