K-9 units spread holiday cheer at Richland hospital parade
Kadlec hospital in Richland hosted a festive event, inviting K-9 units from across the region to don Christmas attire and parade through the facility, bringing holiday cheer to patients of all ages. "So and we just wanna let everybody likes dogs, most people like dogs, so we just want them to, like I said before, get a smile on their face, maybe take their minds off what's going on for a few minutes and just provide some joy at this time of year," said Reams, a K9 security officer for Catholic Regional Medical Center. The event also featured surprise appearances by Santa and the Grinch, much to the delight of attendees. Organizers, including Kadlec and the K9 units, hope to make this parade an annual tradition to continue spreading joy in hospitals for years to come.
