Food utensils in all beverage preparation areas observed stored in a container of water which is not maintained at 135°F. This is a repeat violation. In-use utensils may be safely stored in HOT water maintained at 135°F or above during intermittent use because microbial growth is controlled at such temperatures. In use food utensils MAY NOT be stored in water that is not maintained at 135°F or hotter between uses due to the possibility for microbial growth at room temperature water. Plastic/silicone protective sheeting on interior surfaces of ovens is peeling and no longer fully adhered to oven surfaces. Upper interior of microwave, a food contact surface, was observed to have food residue and was not clean to sight and touch. Plumbing system not maintained in good repair – Water supply to hand sink located in the oven area has been turned off due to leaking waste water pipe. Women’s toilet room has been placed out of service due to toilet flush mechanism broken not in good repair.

Bankrupt Harrisburg Developer Seeks Buyers
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Representatives of a Harrisburg developer appeared in federal bankruptcy court Tuesday. Uptown Partners has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and discussed efforts to sell several properties and deal with hundreds of city code violations. The court heard there are potential buyers for nearly 200 rental units, but none of these entities met all requirements. The final decision on the sale was postponed to June 25th. Later that day, Uptown Partners officials pleaded guilty to charges regarding more than 90 city code violations. The firm faces fines of between 75 and 100 thousand dollars.
