An education in cold cases (you read that right)

Have true crime on the brain? These Elizabethton High School students do, too.

In Alex Campbell's social studies classes, students have been solving crimes since 2018. They've identified victims, worked up profiles that wowed a former FBI special agent and then identified a man they have called a prolific killer.

This class project wasn't some academic exercise. This was real life and real death.
