East Coast braces for a rare early-season nor’easter
A storm taking shape off the East Coast could become a rare September nor’easter later this week, threatening several days of gusty winds, heavy rain, rough surf and coastal flooding from the Mid-Atlantic into New England. Forecasters say the setup is coming together now, with the most significant impacts likely beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, and potentially lingering through the weekend.
