Police Chief Thomas Bryan says the threats were sent to a publication and identified Wick Shopping Plaza as a supposed target. Bryan declined to identify the publication.

Bryan says additional shopping centers, including one in North Brunswick, were also named as supposed targets. According to Bryan, all of these locations had a Planet Fitness. None of these other threats have been deemed credible at this time.
