One person injured in overnight shooting in Mt. Oliver Borough
MT. OLIVER BOROUGH, Pa. (KDKA) -- One person was taken to the hospital overnight following a shooting in Mt. Oliver Borough.The shooting happened in the area of Transverse Avenue and Margaret Street around 1:30 a.m.Dispatchers tell KDKA that one person was taken to the hospital.It's unclear what led up to the shooting or if anyone has been taken into custody.
Allegheny County Police investigating second deadly motorcycle crash in North Versailles
NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. (KDKA) -- A motorcycle driver has died after crashing with a van along Route 30 in North Versailles.Allegheny County Police say the crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday at the intersection of Route 30 and Clyde Avenue. Police say that when first responders arrived at the scene, the man driving the motorcycle was in critical condition.He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.Detectives with the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit are leading the investigating into the crash and say that it appears both the motorcycle and van were driving in the same direction and the crash happened as the van was trying to turn left onto Clyde Avenue.The identity of the victim in the crash has not yet been released.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous. Teen walks into Pittsburgh Children's with gunshot wound to hand
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy walked into Children's Hospital with a gunshot wound. It happened on Saturday around 9 p.m. The teen told police someone shot him in the hand from an Uber vehicle near the YWCA on Frankstown Avenue in the city's Homewood West neighborhood.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's just about closing time for Spork Pitt BBQ on Pittsburgh's South Side.The restaurant is located along East Carson Street and will be closing its doors tomorrow, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.It was a short stint for the South Side restaurant that opened early last year after taking over for Double Wide Grill, which operated out of the spot for 18 years.Steve Zumoff owns the property and said that he is working to find a new barbecue restaurant to become a tenant after Spork BBQ closes.It's unclear how soon a new tenant might take over the space.

FINLEYVILLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- Union Township residents who were hit by an EF2 tornado can now call a phone line for help.The township says PA 211 is helping Union Township residents, and two national volunteer groups, Team Rubicon and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, are providing their services for free.
