2 teens arrested after shooting death of man on RTD bus, victim's family says
DENVER — The daughter of a man shot and killed on a Regional Transportation District bus in January says two teenagers have been arrested in her dad's case. We knew about one of those arrests. A 13-year-old boy was arrested on murder and other charges after the Jan. 27 shooting of Richard Sanchez on a bus near South Federal Boulevard and West Mississippi Avenue. Police said the teen was upset about the victim blocking the aisle with his leg.
Denver officers will not face charges following fatal 7-Eleven shooting
Four Denver police officers who shot and killed a man robbing a convenient store will not face criminal charges. Denver District Attorney Beth McCann announced in a decision letter Wednesday that the four officers involved with the shooting of 43-year-old Christopher Cauch on March 1 will not face charges. The officers were "justified based on Colorado law regarding use of force," McCann said in the decision letter to the Denver Police Department.
