Eden man accused of secret peeping, taking indecent liberties with minor, Rockingham County deputies say

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY. N.C. (WGHP) — An Eden man faces multiple charges, including secret peeping and sexual exploitation of a minor, according to a Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office news release.

On April 23, a search warrant was executed at a home on Anderson Road in Eden by the RCSO with help from members of the Invictus Task Force under the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

This search warrant was a result of information obtained by an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation where photographs and other materials were being downloaded depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Jonathan Andrew Shive, 58, of Eden, was charged with:

• secret peeping
• second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor
• indecent liberties with a minor

He is in the Rockingham County Detention Facility under a $100,000 secured bond.
