Peoria has been ranked among the top places to live in the U.S., according to a publisher of community guides for small-to-mid-sized cities and towns. Livability.com named Peoria among their 100 Best Places to Live in the U.S., giving it a Livability Score of 706, similar to places like Richmond, Virginia, and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Grammy-winning Christian and pop music icon Amy Grant will perform in Washington
Over a four-decade career, Grant has sold more than 30 million albums and garnered six Grammy Awards and 26 Dove Awards. The Augusta, Georgia, native has been called the “Queen of Christian Pop.” Among her crossover hits are "The Next Time I Fall," a duet with Peter Cetera, and "Baby Baby." Both reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

EAST PEORIA (25News Now)—In time for Arbor Day, Wilson Services of Central Illinois planted three Eastern Redbud trees at the 25News studios. Arbor Day is typically the last Friday in April. This year, it lands on April 26, 2024. The day celebrates the planting, upkeep, and preservation of trees. People commemorate the day by planting trees.
