EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WKBN) — Clean-up efforts from the East Palestine train derailment continue this week.

On Monday, testing on Sulphur Run is moving downstream from ground zero to James Street.

Norfolk Southern started cleanup there at the end of March, but it was suspended by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) until it could find a way to contain the oil sheen that was being released from the sediment.

The railroad is keeping its operations to daytime only.

Work is expected to continue for the next several months.
