HOUSTON (KIAH) – A man is dead after a deadly shooting in the Fort Bend part of Houston on Saturday night. Houston Police Department officers responded to a shooting at a Sunny’s food store at McHard Road and Quail Park around 10:45 p.m. Saturday night. Upon arrival, police found a 38-year-old man shot dead in the parking lot.

Suspect in custody after attempting to flee following bank jugging in Richmond
A suspect is in custody after authorities say he broke into someone’s vehicle after they took out cash from a bank. Earlier this week, a joint operation involving the Rosenberg Police Department’s Strategic Enforcement Team, Traffic Unit, and Criminal Investigation Division collaborated with the Sugar Land Police Department, the Houston Police Department, and the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office to stop a suspected bank jugger operating within the Rosenberg city limits.
