Sphere at National Harbor earns planning board approval, developers share new details

The Sphere at National Harbor will stand just over 300 feet high, slightly taller than the hotel towers at the adjacent MGM casino, and just above the trees when seen from Oxon Hill Manor. The Mom and Baby Bus provides free prenatal and obstetrical care to uninsured and underinsured women in Prince George’s County and Ward 8. Billie Hamilton-Powell, director of midwifery and mobile health services at the University of Maryland, explained how the mobile clinic brings essential care directly into underserved communities.
