Dunedin motorcyclist in critical condition after crash on US 19: Officials
CLEARWATER, Fla. - A 26-year-old Dunedin man was hospitalized after his motorcycle collided with two cars on Saturday night, according to officials. Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue say they responded to the scene on U.S. 19 near Enterprise Road after receiving multiple calls around 7:30 reporting the crash.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — A Dunedin man is in the hospital in critical condition after he was weaving in and out of traffic and hit two cars on Saturday night. Motorcyclist Matthew W. Dolch Jr., 26, was driving south on U.S. 19 near Enterprise Road and weaving in and out of traffic in a "reckless manner," according to a news release from Clearwater officials.
Bicyclist killed in Tarpon Springs crash
TARPON SPRINGS — A 75-year-old woman died April 23 when her bicycle veered into the path of an SUV on Bryan Lane. The Florida Highway Patrol said a Jaguar SUV driven by a 63-year-old Palm Harbor man was westbound on the roadway about 6:30 p.m. West of Cypress Lakes Boulevard, the woman on the bicycle, also westbound, “abruptly turned left into the path of the passing vehicle,” according to an FHP release.

FBI agents on April 22 arrested a fugitive in Clearwater about 10 months after he skipped his trial on charges connected to the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol riots. Agents arrested Victor Sean Dennison at the Woodlake Condominiums on the 2000 block of Sunset Point Road at about 10 p.m., an FBI spokesperson confirmed.
