Athol Man Sentenced To Jail Time For 2022 Domestic Incident
(Greenfield, MA) Timothy Chandler, of Athol, has been sentenced to two 18-month jail terms after he pleaded guilty to eight charges in a domestic incident in April of 2022, including two charges of assault with a dangerous weapon. Chandler’s sentence was stayed until December 12th at the Franklin County Superior Court Monday. The April incident was described in reports as an escalated argument with his wife resulting in Chandler firing his shotgun into a television and firing eleven more shots outside, including three after a police officer arrived.
