Brunswick juvenile detained for threats against GCHS
A 15-year-old from Brunswick County is currently in custody for a threat called in to Greensville County High School on May 3. GCHS was placed on lockdown the afternoon of Friday, May 3 following a safety threat called in to the school, according Superintendent Dr. Kelvin Edwards. The Greensville County Sheriff’s Office, Emporia Police Department and Virginia State Police responded and secured the school. They eventually gave the “all clear” around 3:30 p.m.
