    DOYLESTOWN, PA—Here's a look at road closings and slowdowns in the Doylestown area for the week of May 26, 2024.

    In Doylestown Borough, Court Street between Main Street and Clinton Street will be closed and detours will be posted on weekdays for PECO Energy work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 8 through May 31, 2024.

    In Doylestown Township, Easton Road at the intersection of New Britain Road/Sauerman Road will be reduced to one lane for 24 hours on May 15 for work on two roundabouts. During the lane closure, motorists will be detoured to use Sauerman Road, Edison Furlong Road and Route 611/Easton Road.

    In Doylestown Township, Easton Road at the intersection of New Britain Road will have a full closure with a detour from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The closure is scheduled to go from Jan. 25, 2024, through the summer of 2026 as part of the installation of a roundabout.     In Doylestown Township, New Britain Road between Easton Road and Rolling Hill Boulevard will have a single-lane closure 24/7. The work is scheduled to go through the summer of 2024.

    In Doylestown Township and New Britain Borough , Sandy Ridge Road between Butler Avenue and Limekiln Road will have periodic land closures for lane striping from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through May 31, 2024.

    In Hilltown Township, Callowhill Road between Perkasie Road and West Main Street will have a full closure with a detour for a bridge replacement. The work is scheduled to go from April 15 through Nov. 4, 2024.

    In Horsham Township, southbound Route 611/Easton Road between County Line Road and Maple Avenue will have a weekday lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 22 through June 14, 2024.

    In Lower Makefield and Newtown townships, Lindenhurst Road between Route 332/Newtown Bypass and Route 523/Washington Crossing Boulevard will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 20 through Sept. 30, 2024. Motorists will be directed to use Route 332/Newtown Bypass, Durham Road and Route 532/Washington Crossing Road. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

    In Lower Southampton Township, Route 532 South/Bustleton Pike between County Line Road and Bridle Path Lane will have lane closures for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through July 30, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Route 213/Old Lincoln Highway/Maple Avenue between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way will have a lane closure for stormwater work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through May 31 through late June 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Route 213/Maple Avenue between Old Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Avenue will have a partial lane restriction for utility pole maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 15 through June 28, 2024.

    In Middletown Township and Langhorne Borough, Route 213/West Maple Avenue between Old Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Avenue will have a partial lane restriction for utility pole maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 15 through June 28, 2024.

    In Montgomery Township , the area around the five-point intersection at Route 309/Bethlehem Pike, Route 463/Horsham Road/Cowpath Road and Business U.S. 202/Doylestown Road will have alternating lane closures and temporary traffic patterns for utility work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is part of a long-term project that will make major intersection improvements.

    In New Britain Township, County Line Road between Maple Avenue and Trewington Road will have a lane shift from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through June 26, 2024.

    In Newtown Borough, the intersection of Washington Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will have lane restrictions with flagging from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through June 4, 2024.

    In Newtown Township, Route 332/Newtown Bypass will have an overnight lane closure in both directions at the intersection of Lindenhurst Road from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 20 through May 31, 2024.

    In Northampton and Wrightstown townships, Worthington Mill Road between Route 232/Second Street Pike and Swamp Road will have periodic weekday closures for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 13 through May 31, 2024.

    In Northampton Township, Route 332/Jacksonville Road between Richard Lane and Pulinski Road will have a single lane closure for a gas line installation from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through May 31, 2024.

    In Plumstead Township, Point Pleasant Pike between Route 32/River Road/Tohickon Hill Road and Wismer Road will be closed for a pipe replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be directed to use Wismer Road, Stump Road and Tohickon Hill Road. The work is scheduled to go from May 23 through May 27, 2024.

    In Solebury Township, the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge will be closed to traffic from New Hope to New Jersey for several months. The closure will allow for repairs to be made. More information is on the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission website.

    In Tinicum Township, Geigel Hill Road between Durham Road and Upper Tinicum Church Road will be closed for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be advised to use Upper Tinicum Church Road/Chestnut Ridge Road, Bridgeton Hill Road/Marienstein Road, southbound Route 611 (Easton Road), and Durham Road. The work is scheduled to go from April 29 through late May.

    In Upper Makefield Township, Pineville Road between Route 232/Windy Bush Road and Eagle Road will have periodic lane closures for sealcoating and line striping from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through May 31, 2024.
