    DOYLESTOWN, PA—Here's a look at road closings and slowdowns in the Doylestown area for the week of April 28, 2024.

    In Doylestown Borough, Court Street between Main Street and Clinton Street will be closed and detours will be posted on weekdays for PECO Energy work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 8 through May 31, 2024.

    In Doylestown and New Britain townships, Butler Avenue between County Line Road and New Britain Road will have periodic lane closures with flagging for milling and paving from Monday, April 8, through early May. The work is scheduled to go from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Doylestown Township, Easton Road at the intersection of New Britain Road/Sauerman Road will be reduced to one lane for 24 hours on April 30 for work on two roundabouts. During the lane closure, motorists will be detoured to use Lower State Road, U.S. 202 and Easton Road.

    In Doylestown Township, Easton Road at the intersection of New Britain Road will have a full closure with detour from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The closure is scheduled to go from Jan. 25, 2024, through the summer of 2026 as part of the installation of a roundabout.     In Doylestown Township, New Britain Road between Easton Road and Rolling Hill Boulevard will have a single-lane closure 24/7. The work is scheduled to go through the summer of 2024.

    In Hilltown Township, Callowhill Road between Perkasie Road and West Main Street will have a full closure with a detour for a bridge replacement. The work is scheduled to go from April 15 through Nov. 4, 2024.

    In Horsham Township, southbound Route 611/Easton Road between County Line Road and Maple Avenue will have a weekday lane closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 22 through June 14, 2024.

    In Lower Makefield Township, Big Oak Road between Makefield Road and Rita Road will have a lane closure for a utility replacement. The work is scheduled to go through May 13, 2024.

    In Lower Makefield Township, Woodside Road between Merrick Road and Taylorsville Road will have a single-lane closure for overhead electrical work from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 22 through May 24, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Route 213/Maple Avenue between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way will have a lane closure for sawcutting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through May 31, 2024.

    In Middletown Township, Route 213/Maple Avenue between Old Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Avenue will have a partial lane restriction for utility pole maintenance from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from May 15 through June 28, 2024.

    In New Britain Township, Butler Avenue between County Line Road and New Britain Road will have a lane closure with flagging for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 8 through May 3, 2024.

    In New Britain Township, County Line Road between Maple Avenue and Trewington Road will have a lane shift from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through June 26, 2024.

    In Newtown Borough, the intersection of Washington Avenue and Lincoln Avenue will have lane restrictions with flagging from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go through June 4, 2024.

    In Nockamixon Township, Strocks Grove Road between Rock Ridge Road and Perry Auger Road will be closed with a detour for a bridge replacement. The work is scheduled to go through May 3, 2024.

    In Solebury Township, the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge will be closed to traffic from New Hope to New Jersey for several months. The closure will allow for repairs to be made. More information is on the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission website.

    In Solebury Township, Route 32/River Road between Aquetong Road and Route 232/Windy Bush Road will be closed for a pipe replacement from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is scheduled to go from April 22 through May 3, 2024.

    NEW THIS WEEK: In Tinicum Township, Geigel Hill Road between Durham Road and Upper Tinicum Church Road will be closed for milling and paving from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists will be advised to use Upper Tinicum Church Road/Chestnut Ridge Road, Bridgeton Hill Road/Marienstein Road, southbound Route 611 (Easton Road), and Durham Road. The work is scheduled to go from April 29 through late May.
