Cancer Group Kicks Off “Self-Care Month” with 20-Plus Salons And Spas

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA—Bucks County residents have a chance to pamper themselves while helping the local cancer support group Kin Wellness and Support.

The second annual Spa and Salon Self-Care Month, , which runs May 6 through June 6, has more than 20 area salons, spas and med spas participating. The businesses will give a percentage of treatment costs to Kin, which provides free holistic care for more than 275 Bucks County cancer patients and their caregivers.

Kin operates a facility in Buckingham that’s funded entirely by donations from donations and community support.

Kin created the month-long self-care program two years ago to showcase local spas, med-spas and salons to help them find new clients while supporting community members battling cancer.

Participating businesses include the following: David J. Witchell, Posh Hair Design, Skin n’ Tonic, Yardley Day Spa, BYOB (Be Your Own Beautiful), Rituals by Dona French, Kaleidoscope Angles, MALT Hair Studio, Doylestown Float Studio, HUSH Medical Esthetics, True Believers Barber Shop, Nancy Roehl Niche Beauty, Bangz Salon, The Salt Cave, Eden Organics, Meraki Studio, Le Chele Medical Aesthetics, Angelite Reflexology, Nurture Spa, Radiance Spa, Joli Beautique and Serenity Day Spa & Wellness Center.
