Slow-Moving Rain Brings Up to 1.5 Inches to Michigan Including Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Kalamazoo Wednesday Through Friday With Storms Possible Thursday
MICHIGAN — A slow-moving batch of rain is set to move across Michigan from Wednesday, September 30, through Friday, October 2, ending the recent dry stretch. West Michigan is expected to see the highest totals, with 1 to 1.5 inches possible around Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Holland, and Kalamazoo. Thunderstorms may also develop on Thursday in extreme southern Michigan, while totals taper off farther north and east.

The orange is over 2 inches and the yellow is over 1.5 inches. This model may be overdoing it a bit, but I think much of southern Michigan may see over an inch of rain. There will be ponding of water on roads and sidewalks.
