Drivers traveling through the Cardinal Interchange in Beaumont should prepare for overnight closures and detours as work continues on the I-10/U.S. 69 interchange project. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, contractors will close portions of Interstate 10 westbound and related ramps nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday, June 23, through Thursday, July 2, and again Monday, July 6, through Tuesday, July 7.
