Everyone's Roasting The Detroit Pistons After NBA Draft Lottery Results

The Detroit Pistons finished the 2023-24 NBA season with the worst record in the league. They ended the year with a 14-68 record, desperate for help in the offseason.

Any type of victory was a difficult task for the Pistons in 2024. They had issues with their entire team. Immatituity, coaching struggles, and game plan issues, all plagued Detroit en route to a 14-win season.

Detroit was supposed to flip the switch in the offseason, but they were on the back end luck yet again in the 2024 lottery. For the second straight season, the Pistons were favored to land the No. 1 pick and were then dealt the No. 5 pick in the draft.

The Pistons can certainly bulk their roster with the No. 5 selection, but the worng end of history for the second straight year just seems like a tough blow.

NBA fans are throwing around conspiracy theories that the draft lottery is rigged after the Pistons were robbed of the No. 1 pick.
