    Detroit Police searching for 15-year-old girl, missing since she didn't come home from school on April 18

    DETROIT (WWJ) -- The Detroit Police Department is asking for tips from the community in the case of a teen girl who hasn't been seen for two weeks.

    On Thursday, April 18, Charity Lymon left for school and then didn't return to her home, in the 7700 block of Minock on Detroit's west side. She was reported missing to police on May 1.

    Lymon is described as a Black female, 15 years old, 5'3'' tall and weighing 110 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue and green jacket, and blue jeans.

    Anyone who has seen this missing teen, or who knows where she may be, is asked to call Commander Vernal Newson of Detroit Police Department's 6th Precinct at 313-596-5640.
