Detroit Lions reveal dates for 2024 rookie minicamp

It wasn't clear if the Detroit Lions would hold their annual rookie minicamp in the first or second week following the 2024 NFL Draft, but the team revealed on Wednesday that it will be the latter.

According to Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com , the Lions announced that their rookie minicamp will take place from May 10-12. That will be our first look at Detroit's 2024 NFL Draft class and undrafted free-agent signings in action.

Here's a reminder of the rest of the offseason workout schedule, which was released in March .

Rookie Minicamp: May 10-12

OTA Offseason Workouts: May 21-23, May 29-31, June 10-12

Mandatory Minicamp: June 4-6

In addition to rookie minicamp, teams may hold a rookie football development program for a period of seven weeks. That can begin on May 13, one day after the Lions close their rookie minicamp.

Last year, the Lions opened up a few of their rookie minicamp sessions to the media. We'll have full coverage when they do.
