911 transcript details allegation of Minnesota state senator breaking into stepmother’s Detroit Lakes home
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KARE 11) - At 4:45 a.m. Monday in Detroit Lakes, a 911 caller now identified as Sen. Nicole Mitchell’s stepmother said “Somebody has broken into my house... and they just ran down into the basement,” according to a 911 transcript obtained by KARE 11 News through a data practices request.
Dollar General in Hawley closed for remodel
HAWLEY, MINN. (Valley News Live) -The Dollar General in Hawley is temporarily closed for a remodel. To make room for the remodel, the store had a penny sale over the weekend. Several viewers shared their Dollar General hauls with us. Truda Lehrke of Hawley got a car full of items and a bottle of Mountain Dew for $4.98. Kesa Marie, also of Hawley, had totes full of a variety of items for only $2.10.
