Social media reacts to Texas A&M's 17-9 loss to South Carolina
Texas A&M football's offensive struggles continued Saturday as the Aggies fell 17-9 to No. 21 South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium. They failed to score a touchdown for the third time in SEC play this season. The loss leaves Texas A&M (4-5, 1-5 SEC) needing two victories in its final three games to become bowl eligible. Despite another disappointing offensive performance, Texas A&M had opportunities to pull off the road upset. The Aggies entered the fourth quarter leading 9-7 behind three field goals from kicker David Olano. However, South Carolina scored 10 unanswered points in the final quarter, including a 41-yard touchdown run from quarterback LaNorris Sellers to secure the victory. Quarterback Marcel Reed completed 25 of 43 passes for 251 yards, while running back Rueben Owens II rushed for 137 yards on 19 carries. Despite moving the football, the Aggies couldn't finish drives in the end zone. Texas A&M's defense kept the game competitive, but the offense's continued struggles proved costly. With another SEC loss and the team's postseason hopes hanging in the balance, frustration surrounding coach Mike Elko and the Aggies continued to grow across social media. Here's how the internet reacted to Texas A&M's loss to South Carolina.

Logan Federico's alleged killer in court to make a plea. Here's what to know
Logan Federico, a 22-year-old from Waxhaw, North Carolina, was fatally shot in May 2025 in a Columbia home where she was staying with a friend. Her killing set off political fights over South Carolina’s judicial system, the death penalty and a documentation error that may have kept her killer out of prison. Here are key takeaways: Federico was shot early on a Saturday in a Cypress Street rental while Alexander Dickey, 30, broke into two adjacent homes where University of South Carolina fraternity brothers were living , stealing a vehicle, a gun and credit cards, according to a May 2025 news conference with Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook. Dickey was captured the next day after being pulled from a Gaston home he had set on fire. Stephen Federico, Logan’s father, took the stage with state officials on Nov. 15, 2025, to push for judicial reform bill H. 4516 , which would reshape the panel that vets South Carolina judges. He said Dickey had been “arrested 39 times with 25 felonies” yet continued to walk free. Attorney General Alan Wilson, in a letter sent Sept. 30, 2025, urged Fifth Circuit Solicitor Byron Gipson to pursue the death penalty against Dickey ,
