Public meeting scheduled for Lake Conway update
When the Craig D. Campbell Lake Conway Reservoir fills back up, there will be no shortage of Arkansas Game and Fish Commission fish attractors for anglers to target. The Commission wrapped up another habitat enhancement project in the dry lakebed earlier this month, creating 30 sites across four areas of the lake: Palarm Creek, Gold Creek, Dix Creek, and below the Highway 89 bridge. Across those 30 sites, biologists deployed stake beds, fish cribs, and other complex structures built with discounted lumber. Over 256 structures were built to provide cover, shelter, and to congregate fish.
