AUGUSTA, GA — (WRDW/WAGT) Dangerous heat returns as highs head towards the upper 90’s by midweek. Hotter than average temperatures return to start the last week of July, with highs Monday and Tuesday soaring into the middle to upper 90s Monday through Wednesday. Tuesday will be the hottest day of the week with feels like temperatures as high as 108 degrees. Storm chances will be extremely low during this time, so plan for extended heat.
