Patrol: Man killed in fiery crash on Kansas highway
PERRY, Kan. (KAKE) - A 24-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in northeast Kansas, the highway patrol says. The accident happened at around 11 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 24 about a mile east of the U.S. 59 junction in Jefferson County. That's a few miles north of Lawrence. The patrol reports a northbound Buick LeSabre left the roadway to the right and went into the ditch. The car then rolled, struck a utility pole and caught fire.

Vehicle rear-ended at southbound Topeka Blvd. and 17th St. in Shawnee County
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A vehicle was rear-ended at southbound Topeka Boulevard and 17th St. in Shawnee County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Online Crash Log, at 11:15 p.m. on Friday, June 7, a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Topeka Blvd. and 17th St. in Topeka, Kan. A 2006 Toyota Corolla failed to stop and rear-ended the 2012 GMC Sierra 1500.
