Newton Pool Swim Lessons Are Filling up Fast
NEWTON, NJ—The Newton Recreation committee has open the registration for the Newton Town Pool Swim lessons. Each session includes eight 30 minute swim classes taught at the Town of Newton Pool. For residents the cost is $175 and for non-residents the cost is $200.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Classes in each session run Monday through Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and noon. The exception is the fourth of July weekend, classes will be held on Friday, July 5. Lessons are available in three different sessions in order to accommodate and fit into everyone’s schedule. Town of Newton To Host Outdoor Movie Nights This Summer
NEWTON, NJ—Back by popular demand, the Town of Newton will once again be hosting the Movies in the Park event this summer. The first event will take place on Friday, July 26 beginning at 7 p.m. at Memory Park. The movie will be "Paw Patrol." Admission is free. Parking for the event is available at the Park and Ride, 15 South Park Drive, Memory Park, Moran Street and the municipal lots at 15 Trinity Street and 36 Trinity Street, according to town officials.
